What is the reason of our decreasing memories and thinking powers.

We are decreasing our memories due to the increased use and dependence upon modern technology.  For example, if we need a mobile number,  we just search it in our mobile contacts bar and the number is before us.  We don't need to remember it.  There is a famous quote that 

       "Use it or lose it"

So in this way we are not using our memories, so that's why our memories becomes weaker and weaker day by day.  Same is the case with the much dependence upon Google Search Engine.  Whatever information we need we just google it.  This leaves us to leave the habit of research, reading and pondering which lets us to use our thinking ability.  So this is also one of the causes of our decreasing memories and power of wisdom, pondering and meditation.  Too much dependence on modern day technology is detrimental to our memory and mental capabilities.  

There are lots of other reasons of our decreasing memories as well.  

       Such as the man of today is so much immersed in worries and problems of worldy and meterial things that he has lost his memory and mental capabilities.  So this too much materialism and dependence on monetray and material things to show pomp and glitter of this life have lots of other harms as well as depicted by famous Islamic scholar Dr. Israr Ahmad.

   

      So we should also use our memories and mind powers to keep them awake and in use because there again goes a famous quote.  

       Use it or lose it.  

So its better to use it rather to lose it.
