Television gives us a world of entertainment. Our torn out nerves from the daily hustle and bustle of life and worries get peace and relaxation. We enter into another world. We rejoice the world of entertainment. We can switch amongst the plenty of channels, what we want to see and enjoy. There is a collection of entertainment channels from which we can easily choose. This provides refreshment for us.

We got the opportunity to hear and see almost all kind of news and come to know what is happening in the world right now. To which direction our polictics is going etc. News gives us a whole insight of the happenings of the world. We feel ourselves known and knowledgeable and aware persons. It also informs and keeps us up-to-date about latest government policies and laws and orders which we have to follow for our collective benefits. It also informs us about the perils and predicaments of the staus quo. E.g we come to know that many people are dying in road accidents. So we can infer from these kind of news that how much its important to drive carefully while driving on road. Etc.
Knowledge.
There is a plenty of channels which are providing useful, educational, religious and worldly knowledge. We got a bunch of channels to choose from. So television is also a great source of knowledge for us also.
