When we travel in Pakistani provinces we observe that there are dominatingly English sign boards some where Urdu boards also. These English sign boards signifies 2 realities. 1- The Britishers were successful in making subcontinent their colony and their influence on offices and publics is so dominant which can now also be observed. Secondly Pakistan is international country due to English, as English is a language of international communications. It is also a language of business, science and technology, internet etc.
Then there is also a dominant influence of Arabs. As we see extensively mosques in every street and bazar of Pakistan. Our Pakistan namely Islami jamhuria Pakistan, as its name depicts is dominatingly an Islamic country. People Love Islam, Allah, Quran. There are a lot of secular and English civilisation liker people also. But Islam is the supreme religion in Pakistan. Arabs conquered Sindh and Multan and gave us the gift of Islam. So our culture is heavily modified and influenced by Islam. Alexander the great from Athens also came to this region. Then Mongols which accepted Islam and became Mughals have also an influence on Pakistani society. Especially with their constructions and mode of government.
As we have lived with narrow minded hindus from centuries so the some hindu customs even today can be well observed in Pakistani society.
So from the above all discussion we concluded and came to know that Pakistani society and culture is a blend of many civilizations and cultures.
