23 March is very significant day in the history of Pakistan and for Pakistani nation. This is remembered by Youm e Pakistan, Pakistan day. This day is very significant in the history of Pakistan in the sense that on this very day the foundation of a free and sovereign new country Pakistan has been put forward in Lahore in Minto Park by Muslim league elites who conducted this meeting for 2 days. Thus this meeting became the foundation of free and new state of Muslims called Pakistan. So to commemorate this big remembrance Minar e Pakistan has been constructed on this place which remembers us the dignity of this day. So on this day a prestigious commemorations held in the Federal capital ICT Islamabad capital territory every year, but since 2008 this was not held till 2015 due to prevailing terror threats in the whole country. Now in 2016 it was again held with full pomp and show in which civil and military power has been shown and some infantry and SSG special services Groups and military equipment has also been shown with latest defence equipment including first Pakistani drone AL- Buraq also included. Through 23 March 1940 resolution Pakistan became first Islamic republic in the world from a dominion to a free and sovereign nation state.
The importance of this day for Pakistani nation is so much that new ray of hope for Karachi and Pakistan Mustafa kamal has announced the name of his party on this very day as Pak Sar Zameen party. Due to this resolution which was passed and implemented on 23 March 1940 Pakistan leads to freedom from the British colonial system and Hindu ministries which claimed to be the representatives of whole subcontinent but in fact they were only representatives of Hindu communities thus leading to pass Pakistan resolution which leads to a free nation state country on the map of the world. On this day Pm and president give away national awards to deserving people also.
